Industrial Design

Industrial design is the professional service of creating and developing concepts and specifications that optimize the function, value and appearance of products and systems for the mutual benefit of both user and manufacturer.

A good designer should be a good artist, a logical thinker, a practical person who can correlate technology with innovativeness at reasonable cost.

He can interpret the concept or the idea that is in the mind of his client by understanding his needs and translating that into a functional design that meets or exceeds the client’s expectations, and can produce all the relevant CAD data and files for successful manufacture of that product.

Rocwood Designs will create all the relevant CAD files suitable for the relevant manufacturing processes, such as laser cutting, machining, fabrication, moulding, forming, plastic injection moulding, casting and any other manufacturing process required.
